Welcome to Simon's Blog! 

Since Simon has friends and family all over the country, we thought this would be the best way to keep you all up to date on Simon. (Thank you Chandra and Jason, JC and Dan, and Aunt Julie for the inspiration)

Simon Wesley Vieira was born June 11 at 2:15 am. 

He weighed 7lbs, 5oz and was 20.5 inches long.

We've been home from the hospital for just over 24 hours and it has been fun. Rocky and Nikki already love Simon - they are very interested in every sound he makes. For those of you who know Rocky, you know he is afraid of everything. Yesterday he went right up to Simon's swing and smelled it. Last night he kept walking by the bassinet to see if Simon was in there and what he was doing - it was too cute.

We are learning to live on small increments of sleep and Deborah is starting to feel like a 24-hour, all-you-can-eat buffet, but we wouldn't trade it for the world. Keep checking back for updates and pictures - we'll do our best to keep things updated and fresh. Thanks!
