This afternoon was full of visitors! After I got back searching for a new baby-mama vehicle for Deborah, Melinda, a coworker, came over with her 8-week old Kian. Kian is about twice the size of Simon. It was eye-opening to see just how fast these little guys grow, but we're still probably a month away from wearing 3-month-old clothing. Kian and Simon hung for a little bit and Melinda shared some key baby-raising advice.
After some cluster feeding and an extremely short nap, Simon finally got to meet his great grandparents, Ray & Ila Mae. They brought a cute set of Osh Kosh overalls and some sweeties for the older crowd filled with sugar to help keep us awake.
And right now, there's a Mexican Chicken Casserole in the oven courtesy of our neighbors Cindy and Jeff. And tomorrow night Salem UMC is bringing another dish for us to enjoy. So it'll be nice to have leftovers through the weekend.
One more thing. We've been playing with our new camera and I tried posting a video but since our camera records in high definition, the file was ginormous. We'll start taking lower res movies and eventually get some vids of the little peanut up there for you. Have a good night!
